I'm a tennis mom and always out in the sun supporting my superstar son during his tennis tournaments and training sessions. I want to look cute when I'm out there supporting him so I stopped by Lululemon and found this cute pair of shorts and this shirt that look so perfect paired together. The best part is that both of them were on the sale rack. I am obsessed with this light honeydew green color at the moment. As you can see I have the matching color bag so why not go head to toe in this gorgeous light green.

I've been loving all of the pink all over social media that goes along with the Barbie frenzy. I've picked up several Barbie-core outfits and this is one of them. I did some research before pulling the trigger on this dress. The reviews were very hit or miss. Some people loved the dress, some said it was bad quality and I have to say, the quality is great. The only complaint I would have it the sizing. It does run small in my opinion. I'm wearing a size Large and normally I would get a small or medium. I loved this dress so much I ended up also ordering it in white so I can style it with some of my colorful bags and shoes.
I did forget all of my accessories and jewelry since I was too overly excited to get some photos in before I was all finished getting dressed. That's what happens when you're rusty because you take so much time off from blogging...lesson learned!

Continuing on my trend of living in perpetual summer, I styled another bright colored outfit for a casual lunch with my husband. I styles my Lilly Pulitzer top with a belt to synch the waistline and paired it with a high waisted pair of straight legged white denim jeans.
If only I would have waited to wear this particular outfit, I would have the perfect color Chanel Duma backpack to match, since the new 23P collection Duma backpack is baby pink. For now, my warmer toned Duma will do. It's just too cute to leave on a shelf for too long. The new 23P collection Duma comes with two front pockets as well, which gives me an excuse to get it because that makes it a totally a different bag!
We just got back from a trip to Alabama where my son played a tournament. We had so much fun and enjoyed our week long stay there. What a friendly place! Everyone so was kind and welcoming. Papa Don’t Preach is the name of the luxury brand and it suits the brand perfectly since their initiative is to style a modern society with a sense of unapologetic rebellion. The brand, created in 2010 by designer Shubhika Sharma, in Mumbai, a fashion metropolis in India, focuses on luxury items embellished with beads, crystals, and the most vibrant colors. At only 23 years old, Shubhika opened the doors of Papa Don't Preach to the world with a playful spin on traditional Indian silhouettes and detailed embellished designs.
Papa Don’t Preach caters to luxury shoppers in the market for bright vibrant bridal looks, jumpsuits, baby doll dresses and even has handbags and other accessories. The styles have even been seen on celebrities such as Paris Hilton, who wore a stunning, ornate, red beaded jumpsuit to a fragrance launch event.
My favorite collection from the brand is their line up of gorgeous, intricate, over the top baby doll dresses. These baby doll styles do come with a hefty price tag of over $1k US Dollars which would parallel this brand to luxury brands like Zimmermann. I was hoping their prices wouldn’t be so high, but from the moment I saw the first baby doll dress that sparked my interest in this brand, I knew it had to be some astronomical price because the detail and craftsmanship of the design looked top notch.

My everyday go to look is a simple denim paired with a bodysuit or simple top. This outfit is a mix of low and high fashion. The basic simple one shoulder bodysuit that I am wearing is from Madewell, which is a lower end fast-fashion type fashion brand, but I believe they are ethical in their business practices. My jeans are from Good American, which I would consider a mid-range denim brand. Good American has quickly become my absolute favorite brand of denim. The prices can be steep, but the jeans are just such great quality and the styles are tall girl friendly which is so important to me since I'm 5'9". These specifically are the Good Waist light wash jeans and they are extremely stretchy and made out of a nice thick denim that holds you in comfortably.
I topped off the look with my sandals and handbag being on the high end. I think it's easy to mix and match styles like this since its hard to maintain a head to toe expensive look, especially when it's not necessary. I do find it important to give my money to fashion brands that do value human rights and practice ethical business. I do love any reason to wear something pink, so here is my pink Valentine's outfit of the day. I decided to a bright pink Karl Lagerfeld tweed dress which I have been waiting for the perfect occasion to wear. The true tone of this dress is so much more vibrant and bright than what is pictured, it kind of looks coral in the photos. Same goes for my bag. This is one of my favorite bags, but I feel like it's hard to capture the true tone in photopgraphs. It's such a gorgeous bright pink, but since these were taken indoors with indoor lighting, the color looks much warmer and muted.

I’m excited to welcome February with a new outfit post. I felt inspired by my new Hemant and Nandita top from Revolve, I wanted to style it in a way that would bring out more of the pink details, so I went off the deep end and styled the top with my favorite pair of pink Good American jeans. These are the Good Legs Coated Jeans and they are heavenly. The fabric is stretchy and thick, and sucks in all the right places. I'm still on such a Hemant and Nandita kick, I'm constantly on Revolve adding more things to my cart.

I discovered this clothing line after scrolling through my phone and gasping when the stunning yellow, lemon embellished two piece bikini popped up on my screen.
I immediately screenshot it and started searching for an online store where I could buy it immediately. Unfortunately for me that particular bikini was from a few seasons prior so it was sold out everywhere that I looked. Talk about disappointing. I did find the official Andrea Iyamah website and found all of her other gorgeous and unique designs and I fell in love. She is definitely a designer to keep your eyes on and support. I appreciate real artists who are passionate about their craft and Andrea is just that, a true talent.
